(Athena and many characters)
Parthenon
I
Three women
Dike, Eirene, Eunomia: _We came in peace to bring you a delicious fruit, green-eyed girl. May this session begins in order.
A sound of keys.
Aiakos: _We are here to have a serious conversation. Do not waste my time with theater.
Minos: _We may all seat.
Rhadamanthys: _No. This is her house. We will seat when the lady allow us to seat.
Themis: _I sincerely appreciate that you all have come.
Athena was stood under the colossal statue of herself. They were not alike. But that statue inspired fear. She comes in a armor and helmet. Ares, Deimos and Phobos are armed and by her left side. Nike is also on arms, with Pallas on her right side.
Pallas: _I accept your fruits.
Athena comes to the table, let the spear with Nike and the shield with Ares and seats without saying any word.
Aiakos: _I heard rumors about your beauty. It is true, you are a daughter of our father, the blue lights of thunder lord protector blesses you. But I also heard rumors about your manners.
Athena: _...
Aiakos: _Stop facing me! You know it's not ethical to use a helmet in these reunions.
Athena: _What do you want?
Eunomia: _We are here in peace, and we respectably expect no belligerent behavior. The helmet menaces all of us here. We did not brought any kind of weapons. We expected you were alone. Could you ask for your soldiers wait outside the temple and remove your armor?
Athena: _I can't.
Themis: _You are losing your mind Athena! You can't go that far.
Athena: _You do not tell me what do I have to do.
Rhadamanthys: _She is out of her mind. Let's live her alone to make her fresh her mind a little. We will return another day, when she will be cooler.
Athena: _There won't be another meeting like this. We should solve our direct problems instead of question why you don't have weapons and I do have. Let's go to the point.
Rhadamanthys: _You cannot protect him. He's like a human! Why we should care?
Athena: _This is not your place. Come back to Hades where you decide something.
Rhadamanthys: _We are here to judge the living and the dead. The gods and the Titans. You should not interfere on humans affairs!
Athena: _You should shut your mouth and get out of here.
Themis: _Dozens of people are waiting outside with torches and arms in hands, Athena. They are waiting for your answer. They believe Prometheus is hidden in the temple, under your protection. Is is true?
Athena: _Yes, it is.
Minos: _So, you don't deny that you are guarding him, breaking our sacred laws, which dictates we mustn't interfere on humans?
Aiakos: _It's your father's orders. You must return to Olympus.
Athena: _Or what?
Aiakos: _Eirene, Eunomia, go.
Athena: _Ares.
Ares do not let them go.
Dike: _Stay out of my way little boy.
Ares: _Shut up you bitch, or I will teach you some manners.
Minos: _ORDER! ORDER!
Athena: _Pallas! Take Minos to the Prison. You do not scream order in my place. Take him!
Minos: _She is really insane! Open the door, let the people come inside!
A bunch of ferocious people enters in the temple. They are all armed and angry. Women, boys, skeptical ladies and gentleman, priests and acolytes where there, to give Prometheus what he deserves. The slaves wait outside.
Priest: _PROMETHEUS MUST DIE!
Sculptor: _Athena does not belong to this city. Look what she is doing in the name of father Zeus! She is bringing us terror and fear, with the fear face of Ares.
Peasant: _I am not party of this democratic system. There is nothing for us, and you are trying to stop slaves of freedom? Did you know the slave who murder Prometheus will earn its freedom? Let them come inside. Come slaves. Today you will have a chance, as much as I.
Senator: _Death to Athena! Death to Athena!
Athena is with the head low. She is thinking.
Themis: _Please Athena, do what they are asking. They are freak.
Athena: _NOBODY TOUCHS HIM. As long I am here, no one will pass and get to Prometheus. Go away to your places, to your wives and lovers, to your art and philosophy, but live me here. I'll handle my business. Take care of your life.
Artist: _You are no longer our God! You betrayal all of us! Let us break this statue!
The artist throws a stone in the direction of Athena's head. She doesn't make a move. The Shield saved her.
Athena: _One more step and I will order my soldiers to open fire!
Rhadamanthys: _You are crazy! Are you willing to murder civilians to guard a criminal?
Athena: _This is their choice.
Priest: _KILL ATHENA! KILL HER NOW!
The mob comes as a hurricane thought Athena, which still stands calm. When they get really close, she says, with the head low:
Athena: _Fire.
Ares, Deimos, Phobos, Nike and Pallas shoot and seven people fall dead on the floor, and there is a lot of them wounded and screaming in pain and madness, cursing Athena and the City of Athens.
Athena: _Is there somebody else who intend to pass?
Those who survived got even more shocked. They stood like a picture in a frame, looking to Athena with fear and anger. By that time, they were already listening to the Song of the Furies. One more group try to attack Athena, and once again the soldiers block them. There was too much blood on the temple. Those who rested, were not standing Athena. They were looking up, for the mighty statue.
Athena: _Yes, I forgive all of you for attempt against him. You will never do it again, because today, you have all lose your reason. I curse you of not thinking. You will be more like you wish to be, more like an animal. You will only have fear, doubt, and confusion as your friends. Chaos and disorder will take over your spirit, you will not recognize family or anyone, you will be dreaming. I curse you: you will not have an imagination.
Rhadamanthys: _What are you gonna do now? Kill us?
Athena: _No. I will just let you arrested here, in the temple. I don't want you to follow us. Bring the prisoner.
Two guards brings a prison in chains.
Athena: _Take a look at him. Do you believe he deserves to die?
Rhadamanthys: _Is this a joke Athena? This is not Prometheus, you lousy liar!
Athena: _That's right. You know Prometheus, I do know him. These people here have ever seen him? They just wanted to shed blood.
Rhadamanthys: _Oh, great, and this is your explanation for what you did? It was real much better give one criminal life, to save dozens of innocents citizens.
Athena: _Prisoner: How do you see the underworld?
Prisoner: _I see the underworld as red. I see flames all over it, orange and yellow burning all over the place.
Athena: _I see the underworld as blue. Cold and empty.
Rhadamanthys: _I am waiting for your explanation.
Athena: _I don't have to explain anything at all. Guards. Cease these judges and let some water and food for them. We might take a long time on our trip.
Rhadamanthys: _You are wrong and you know it. You will regret Athena, mark my words, humans do not deserve that. If he was truly Prometheus, I could understand. But you don't even know him, he will die anyway sooner than later. You have weak feelings Athena.
Athena: _...
Rhadamanthys: _You agree. You know that I am right!
Athena looks to Nike, who immediately understood the order: Nike gives an amazing punch in Rhadamanthys. He falls.
Athena: _Take them out of here.
The soldiers obey.
II
Athena: _What did you do?
Prisoner: _Huh?
Athena: _Why they wanted to murder you?
Prisoner: _I killed my master and run away.
Athena: _I will take off your cuffs. You may go.
Prisoner: _Thank you Lady. You are very good.
Athena: _Where do you come from?
Prisoner: _Sparta, my lady.
Athena: _I thought it was correct that situation in Sparta. When a slave murder a boy who is under Agoge, the slave earns its freedom.
Prisoner: _That's what I did. But I thought he was a Spartan. He was Athenian. A rich family of farmers of Athens wanted to give a proper and rigorous military education to their son. They convinced the Ephors their son could fight for Sparta, it was a dream of his family that he become a warrior. A specialist warrior. But he really wanted to be a poet.
Athena: _How do you know it?
Prisoner: _He was my lover. We keep our on the forest making love, sometimes other boys were passing by and join us. The solitude of the forest, the sound of the river inspired our days of happiness and love. We slept together, naked, tired of a night of wine and poetry. It was the best time of my life.
Athena: _You were in Arcadia or in Sparta?
Prisoner: _Some of the Spartans joined with us, in our Dionysus nights. Oh hail the God of Wine! It was not only about killing ourselves in the woods. Sometimes we got tired of that and joined, slaves, warrior child, farmers, acolytes in afternoons of joy and pleasure.
Athena: _What about women?
Prisoner: _We always prefer boys. Some girls use to stay with us, they liked to hear our poems and take shower in the waterfall. But the real true love and passion was shared with the boys, when we share what we have the best. There is nothing more exciting than being in a party, drinking and loving one, four, nine guys, one kissing you up, other kissing you back, another biting your nipple, holding, nobody belongs to anybody and everything is freedom and joy.
Athena: _If you loved him that much, why did you killed him?
Prisoner: _To earn my freedom. We spare time together, we shared our heat and love, but he had his training. I needed to be free.
Athena: _This is a lie. Why did you kill him?
Prisoner: _Because I was in love for him. He started to get cold and distant on our sweet afternoons. We divided in groups of four or five guys, and he never joined in my group. I started to watch him kissing three beautiful spartan boys. They were all putting in his mouth, and they were gorgeous indeed, they were young so the body didn't had many hair, they were like gods. I started to enjoy to watch him in the beginning, but I started to feel jealous. I was seventeen years old, I was already a man, and I needed a man to myself. But he didn't like me anymore. One day he was sleeping in the woods, drunk and naked. I saw that body I loved for many times, how much he taught me and how could be strong a relation among men. I stabbed him in the back many times, while I was crying. I could not leave the body because I felt repent. When the morning comes and the other boys saw what I did, they wanted to kill me. So I started to run away, until you found me.
Athena: _You got your freedom. But you will never be free.
..Where are you Prometheus?
